Our October '07 meeting was enjoyable and well attended. Drawings for free tee-shirts and NYSSO bags added to the fun. Evolution of PALs, Infection Control, Contrast Sensitivity, That’s Not Normal were all very informative and well presented by Debra White. Also, Income Your Way with John Piccirilli was well worth the hour for one NYS Business Management CEC. |

Debra White did a fantastic job of presenting in spite of a defective projector bulb. Four hours of credits went by very quickly because of her talented delivery of information. |

Carl Conklin received recognition for many years of valuable contributions to NYSSO including serving as President on the Executive Board of Directors.
Thanks to Carl and people like him, NYSSO will continue to be dedicated to improving our profession and securing our future as licensed ophthalmic dispensers, including monitoring and acting on legislative issues that affect all opticians.
NYSSO is the only organization that can serve that purpose.
Congratulations Carl, Well Done |
